Make sure your trucks are snug, not too loose.

Nothing beats wobbing out and face slapping the opposite wall...

so true . . . "i like to fall on my face"

Worse yet, wobble yourself right off the ramp. Ouch!

Just looking for suggestions. I just recently received an 8.38 Flip Rune P2 Deck. I haven't set it up yet but I've been leaning toward riding a vert ramp in my area and wanted some suggestions on setting it up. Right now I've got a pair of Thunder High 147's and some 54mm Spitfires.

I wasn't sure if I should go with a bigger truck and wheel size? I finally work close enough to the ramp where I'll be able to get at least 3-4 nights week riding time in.

I was thinking INDY 149's with some 56-58 Bones Skate Park Formulas or some Spitfire Parkburner and bones swiss.

If you're a Thunder Truck guy then you should get some Thunder 149ers. I'd go with Bones 58mm-60mm, and definitely Bones Swiss if you want to put in less effort pumping.

Pads, too!

Good luck, and have fun.
