I lost a Friend to Cancer back in June this year, he went quick (3 Weeks). The Guy was just the nicest Guy I've met, treated my Kids like his own and I never heard him say a bad word word about him. I use to call him the King of Spades (a story far to long to explain).
I have another Friend who is a part time tattooist who had lost his Mum to Cancer last year and he came up with a simple tattoo on the inside of my arm to remember my Friend by.
I know it's not the greatest of tattoo's and it's still got some detail to be added to the card and some further shading to the heart but I thought it was worth sharing. |

I have some other tattoo's to represent some personel issues. For those that don't know (it's no secret) I'm a recovering Alcoholic, hopefully will be 3 years sober in December.
I had a tattoo to represent how my Wife held my family together whilst at my lowest and stuck by me.
The other is kinda a signify stuff relating to my last drink and how good it's not to in that shit hole anymore.
the last one isn't finished and I'm always adding (my new addiction).
Just wanted to share as SnB and it's members have been a great help in my continued recovery. Life is good and I'm grateful |

WELL DONE! Congrats on the sobrity. I did a lot of drugs but it remained "managable." I was raised in an abusive, alcoholic family. I applaud you for your efforts!  Nice ink...... |

thanks again Guys, this place rocks and I'm grateful for any support.
Forgot the inside of my arm. Pretty lame really, just words from Good Riddance which fit in well with my story and feelings but were mainly done as my 5 year old sings them to me. Just a nice reminder of stuff I share with her now that I didn't get too when I was drinking.

Nice work. I love tribute tattoos, not the Miami Ink style tributes, but these, the real ones. |
