I won’t be greedy…I’ll sell my place holder to one of you all if I can find a nos version (well, maybe I shouldn’t make that kind of promise). I’m not that much of a hoarder. I’ve watched almost all the other used versions sell and never once tried to snatch them up. Grabbed the best white I could find in the mean time and stopped there to wait.

Alright, I lost some posts off my want thread due to the server change yesterday so I’m going to do a little restoration:

Scotty, I actually do have two survivors with the grip art intact.
-One is a deck I retired early back in the day, cause I loved it so much. I learned so many new moves on it and the girl next door was always coming around while I was riding it , he, he...good times. The ramps were starting to tear at the plys from sliding over screw heads and I just didn't want to see it destroyed.
Maybe, I'll post some shots of the survivors in a future bump .
This deck is a remnant of some of the hottest days of my past. I was like the bee in the grip; pollinating the local flower daily (sowing the old oats ). Skating was good on this deck too, frontside smiths to revert and backside ollie blunts felt awesome on it…something to do with the concave. So many good memories, the deck is pure romance to me.
ps…sorry Del/Steve, this won’t help with your search because I got to keep her but I thought you would be the type who would appreciate the sentiments and reasoning.
…thanks all the way to China Cdog007! And Herwig ya good fella!! (lost a bump out of the thread from Herwig, this was my thank you)
Someone help me find my: nos white dip SC Special Edition mechanical Fish!

Here is another post restoration that I wanted to follow up on:
chall5 wrote: Did you say there was a NOS one in Di$po$able? If so save your pennies and ask Cliver who owns it then hit them with a big offer
chall5, thanks for the suggestion/push. I’ve been thinking about contacting him for the last couple years but I thought he may already have too many kooks asking for favors. Although, after reading your post…I cracked. I tried to compose a message that was lacking in pressure tactics and Sean was kind enough to respond expeditiously.
sean cliver wrote: sorry... that one that i photographed was straight from the NHS screen shop!
Wow, I’m bummed. The deck isn’t held in private hands. Part of me kept thinking that I’d eventually land that one. Even before contacting Sean, I had hoped to be lucky enough to have the owner log on to this site. Just a total needle in a haystack now!
…always enjoyed your avatar, glad you found a nice nos one to match, congrats!

I've got a black one, and don't think I want to let it go.
Bump for a hard one to find. |

fatoldskater, zeno01…those are nice to see, both are very charming, it even looks good wearing all the badges!
Herwig…so, are you telling me to be more persistent…you think it’ll help, I hope so!!
Thanks for the support; you guys actually give me the feeling that there are individuals on here who would give me a heads up if they had any leads. Even if it popped up on ebay, I’d appreciate the nod (never know, sometimes life can get in the way of a good search).
