i was the exact same way. it was almost like a religious awakening.
why are trucks the only thing on a skateboard that is expected not to wear down?
decks break, chip, crack and (sometimes) warp.
wheels chip, flat spot, soften/harden.
bolts strip.
grip gets worn out.
bearings junk up.
at 30-40 bucks a pop it's still in the same price range as a set of wheels which get replaced, every 3-4 weeks? why not, trucks? |
