DS...looking for some informal Sunday action perhaps.
Is the Golden Gate deal still on?
The NCDSA site is weird for me to navigate, and I have a hardtime making heads or tails of it.

Well, Nick (dangersticks) set me up with a turner slalom board but I haven't really ridden it yet. No smoothly paved hills around here (just 14,000 ft. peaks). I did take it around the banks at the skatepark and pumped around the culdesac a bit but haven't actually gone through any cones. If the golden gate sessions are on, let me know - i need a trip up there anyway.

Slalom is good, killer, skate-fun! I've been doing it for almost 2 years and have had some great times with some of skating's legends that slalom. It's all skating guys. Ask DP, or Ole and they'll tell you that they love to run cones-doing tight, high-speed turns is the essence of skating. But, I agree with Slim, that there are a bunch of nerds, jocks, and sport freaks that take it way too seriously. Kenny Mollica is fuckin' hot vert skater too-he came down and sessioned with me, Jay Smith, and Chicken just after winning the FCR Slalom Worlds. It's all skateboarding bro's-get out there and run some cones!

Somehow I think shaving Bear down would be a rather dangerous thing.
