I know you guys love looking at shots of backyarders and other ramps. Here are a few shots of my old ramps from back in the day. From the first ramp I ever built to the jump ramps. Enjoy!

First ramp I ever built. Made of scrap wood. Used paneling from my sister's room for the riding surface. The ramp eventually ended up in the cul-de-sac for all the kids to use. This shot was taken on 4/24/86 |

Here's a few shots of the jump ramps. The first pic was my first jump ramp. The second was my friends jump ramp, more like a quarter pipe at four feet high. I was the only one to launch off of it. The one shot was taken on the ground with me flying over the camera, six feet in the air! Fun times.

My first halfpipe behind the vegetable garden. Trannys were hand drawn. had plans to make a spine but never finished it, went on to build another halfpipe later on. Check out the airwalks and Grosso face and bad trip decks. Yes, I was riding my gullwings too. No hair on the chest.

This thread just doesn't get the 's it deserves!
Rampman ... some sick, fun-as-hell looking ramps you've had. |

Here is a ramp we rolled out of my garage when we wanted to ride. The neighbors across the street had a nice banked driveway to start from.
Here is one we built out in the middle of a housing development in the middle of the desert that was only streets, no houses.

Both of those ramps were made completely from election signs we "acquired" with the help of a 1970 Cadillac.
Imagine two 16 year old kids in a gold 4 door Cadillac holding multiple sheets of plywood (painted face down) on the roof with just our hands. |
