You make me want to go broke and get a backyard pool built myself. I do have atleast 5 people who would invest in it, but no place to put the damn thing. Plus my 1973 Cuda will be eating some of my funds in the very near future. It's cool to see someone have something like that in their own backyard.

Dream pool... PERIOD!
And it's got lines a plenty! Sweet trannies and killer coping... I was supposed to ride it in September/Octber when I was in Cali -unfortunately it didn't happen as I was stuck down in South Cali waiting for the S&BII decks to be completed (they were way behind schedule) so I could ship them out.
Hoping to hit it after x-mas if all goes well.
In the interim, I'll just continue torturing myself watching the legend, the master, Steve Olson shralping the pool on the .mov video off the Indy site -which features several sequences of Bulky f**king shit up in Shitty's pool.

Shitty - You are writing that gem of a pool off as R&D - right?! |

Yeah...R&D!!
It's great, and only a small chosen few have/will ever hit it.
Locals knew what I was up to....not a phone call in the two years of building to offer ANYTHING....not money, not effort, not even to invite me to skate.
I put on ten years and thirty pounds building it....it's taken over a year of skating and dieting to lose the weight, but, at least I know who my friends are(n't)!
Wally Hollyday is the only one I wanted...I called him when he was still an industrial design dude....he thought it was a joke.
Til the check showed up.
I encourage EVERYONE to rent a Bobcat...and start digging.
It's like sex....once you've had it..you don't know how you made it that long WITHOUT it.
And DAMNED if you'll give it up, or share with just anyone!
Hahahahaaahaaaaa!!!
LIVE THE DREAM.
Don't marry a bitch, don't settle for a mini ramp...move out of your apartment, get some mad squabble in your head...and BRING THA RUCKUS!!
You gotta go bad on life....and FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT....but, once you have that mentality, NOONE can fuck with you.
That's why all that Lunchbox shit with Hack just cracked me up....
"Dude, where IS this Deathbox of which you speak?!!!" was all I could think of as I skated each night...laughing my ass off.

I'm a stupid, fearless mofo when it comes to most things - but I'm smarter than to try a barge session on that pool!
Dude is armed to the teeth! (Pit Bull patrol too!)
Fortunately I have an invite - though it's almost worse than not having one... I hate having to wait for shit! |

I'm just gonna camp out in his front yard until I'm able to ride. A steady diet of Gordo's & Zachary's and I'll be set up! Actually, he's explained to me the rules, and as soon as I can save the $ for a ticket...I'm on it. Too much respect to barge that shit. Guns don't scare me...dogs, however, now that's a different story.
Ride Shitbird or ride Shit.

(Shakes his head in silence and thinks to himself) Why don't you take up Shitty's offer and go skate the pool and stay with him and Mrs. Shitbird for a few days.
@Shitbird
I am seriously doing what I can to get out and visit you. Don't give up on me! |
