This thing is tiny (6ft wide) but we worked with what space we had. The tranny is nice and mellow so my son can learn on it. It's a blast to mess around on.

Very nice! You have inspired me to do something small in my own basement (unfinished).

That fall you took was rad! Usually a small tranny means if/when you fall you slam the flat. In the case of your clip, you're more in danger of slamming the OPPOSING COPING

I might have to PM you for some rough dimensions.

The room is 9 1/2 ft by 11 1/4 ft.

The ramp is 16" high, 6' wide and 11' long. The decks are 1 ft which are too small but I didn't want to give up any flat bottom. One side of the ramp is not right up against the wall because of a baseboard heater so that side is better for rock and rolls.

I tested out 3 different versions of transition, as 1/4 pipes, before I decided on this one.

The surface is 2 layers of 1/2" ply and two layers of 1/4" masonite.

If I remember correctly, it was a few inches over 8ft.
