I just posted about these new MODE Skateboards freestyle decks in the company announcement section but wanted to put them here too since they are hand shaped and screen printed decks. Been studying this section from time to time and learned a lot of great tips.

The first couple of decks are slightly smaller single-kick freestyle decks measuring 7.3 by 28.25. The boards feature a rounded nose and a slightly squared-off tail with a hint of concave. More details about them at www.MODEskateboards.com and https://www.facebook.com/ModeSkateboards.

They are all screened using 225 or 230 screen mesh, a combination of Nazdar and Speedball Acrylic inks, and clear glossed. In warmer weather, the Speedball ends up being a more watery ink. But I've been getting better results with it in the colder weather as it seems to thicken a bit. The Nazdar dries super fast and I use the retarder to slow it down a bit. But the finished look of the Nazdar inks is nice and glossy.

And these are some of the other double-kick and single-kick freestyle shapes I'm doing in various sizes ...

A start-to-finish look at an earlier MODE deck ...

Thanks! I'm hoping to finish up a new shape during this weekend or the coming week. It's a pool shape (8.75 by 32.5).

I'm just trying to finish the graphics. I'm kind of slow with that because I always run out of time with work and skating regularly. But I'm hoping this will be the weekend that I can make the screens.

Thanks for the useful sharing. I suggested you to follow the link just one time and get any kind of graphic/images/logo/screen printing and designing.
