Hey there yes another Aussie here I've lurked around here for a while and decided to try and get amongst it. I skated from about 87-94ish like a lot of you I'm in my mid 30s. About a year ago I discovered I could buy a NOS Tony Hawk pictograph on EBay I couldnt believe it. I lept on it before anyone else could get it only to quickly discover the abundance of one of my childhood decks. I must have been the only person who skated one in the 90s from memory it was like riding an ironing board. I have learnt a little about buying boards since my hastie picto purchase and have started a small collection of boards I had or couldnt afford when I was younger or I just like the look of. I have no preference on brands or problems with reissues. I just like what I like. I also appear to have missed the boat when it came to getting a Bucky Lasek stadium when in abundance any help finding one would be appreciated. Hopefully I can be helped to collect other decks from my youth other than my precious picto and share some like minded views. Thank you for having me and please be gentle with me. |
