Just started reading 'Bronsons Loose:The making of the Death Wish films'

Love the first two, the rest were shite but Charles Bronson was always a hero of mine and some of the stuff in this book just adds to his legend.

Just finished reading Irvine Welsh's 'Skagboys' on the weekend. I was looking forward to reading about Mark Renton, Sick Boy and the rest again, as I'm a big fan of Trainspotting and have read nearly all of Welsh's books, but I have to admit I was pretty disappointed.

It could have done with some editing to trim it down. Some of the lesser known characters should have got less page space.

Still enjoyed reading about Leith as I spent most summer holidays there as a kid.

Just bought a vintage copy of F. Scott Fitzgerald's "Tender is the Night" off ebay.

Now reading a collection of Hemingway's short stories.

Am i right in thinking they had to put subtitles on the US cinema release of Trainspotting or was this just bullshit?

The Acid House was FAR better in my eyes, both in film and book!
