Looks good. Two layers of ply for sure though. And make sure the seams over lap. Your current vertical seams are weak spots since there's nothing under and chances are you will either go through or the masonite will break over the seams. |

I have been away with family for a couple of weeks but got a bit more done today. Both platforms and coping done and a fair bit of soundproofing on the far end. I ran some insulation under the transition, backed it with carpet and filled the rest with boxes. I will hopefully lay another layer of 7mm ply and then sheet it with 5mm masonite next week.

Looks rad!
I put thick carpet mats under my ramp. Cuts down on the sound big time. |

Before you get the Masonite I'd recommend getting a price on some 1/4" Baltic birch for a final layer. It's so sweet! |

Cashed in the money box and threw down the 2nd layer of ply today. Sound enough to take the weight of a couple of fat old bastards. Helmets only at this stage until I can pad out the end roof purlin. It's got a sharp edge on it. Otherwise it feels pretty good just a bit tight on the roller door platform.

Yeah from the looks of an all aluminum shed I'd say it Echo's pretty bad
The most inexpensive way to sound proof is to cover the walls with a bunch of Tarps... It prolly won't look the best but u can get black ones so it doesn't stand out as much
Did u use ramp plans or did u just wing it?
It's looking good either way |

I had a look at some plans to get the transition right but then changed a few things to help it fit the shed. Also is 9ft wide not 8ft so I made 2 sections of tranny for each end and joined them to strengthen it. Platforms are also different lengths so I could squeeze a bit more flat. The plans were good to show transition cuts and also fitting the coping. Other than that I pretty much used common sense. These are the plans I had a look at-

I think they only use 1 sheet of ply, we have one layer of 9mm, one of 7mm and one of 5mm masonite to come.
I think you are right, tarps and blankets for the walls. And also hit it hard when it's raining. You can't hear a thing when the rain is hitting the roof! |
