I used to skate when i was younger 12-15 years, all i knew about skatin was what i saw at xgames and on my hood. Now im retaking almost 10y later. The thing is i was used to only see doublekick rounded boards, may be because the sport wasnt stablished in my area. And i thought those were perfect for anything
Now that im older, searching internet and buying through ebay i see lots of different types of decks everywhere, Axe types, double kick squared, single kick squared from which some seem to be poolers and others freestylers.
All i used to know was that those standard skates >8 width was for park and vert and <8 was street.
My real question is, which are the different established disciplines of skateboard nowadays and what type of boards are recommended for each?
