Howdy,
Longboards are RAD!!! For the surf/skate thing
it's great to bust out the BDS Longboard and
just CARVE!
Waiting on a Hustler and a Numbchuck from
"Mr.Nick" Dangersticks; the Hustler is gonna
be a beetchen set-up, Seismic 180mm's,
Shitfires and a set of bearings yet to be deter-
mined.
NCDSA is a cool forum; but I have to agree that
some of those guys take things a little too seri-
ously. But you can learn some good stuff from
dem peeps once in a while.

props to ghostcav - she deserves to get anything she wants...
My LB?...
38" BDS (has the "W" concave) - currently set up w/ med tight Tracker sixtracks w/ soft bushings, 1/2" flat risers, and single con Shogos - the harder ones, 'cause I don't have the soft ones...have had 64mm gasheads on it too. Oh, and a sticker that says: WARNING - SKATEBOARD OR DIE.
I ride it out front of the house - w/ my twin Betty's - great fater/daughter time...
Good cruiser, like the kick on it and the W I D Eness of the deck. I'll take it to the park for sure when it opens in the summer; also have ridden it in a 'crete ditch, and will ride it on the ramp we have planned for the winter.
Have my eye on a G&S LB - think it is 42", slight kick --- maybe w/ some soft kryps and indys...

Quiver:
Comet 44" PROflex downhill deck, Randal R-II 150mm trucks, Kryptonics Hawaii K 70mm/78a wheels.
BullDog 38" Longboard deck, Tracker 184mm Darts (wedged front), BullDog Skull Wave 64mm/95a wheels.
Next longboard will most likely be a Dregs Alpine Pinstripe deck, Seismic 180mm trucks (quick geometry front/rear), ABEC11 Flashbacks 70mm wheels (duro is TBD). |
