Thanks for the referral.

I'd love to sell/trade it to Colin but it's kinda big for his needs - and postage to Canada would be a drag.

I have a single 15" in a cabinet anyway.

I had a Fender Quad Reverb amp for a while that I played bass through after I sold my guitars. It was basically a 4 x 12" Twin Reverb but I redid it and it kicked ass. Unfortunately it was sold off with all my other music gear.

Don't know how they play, and I couldn't tell the diff anyway. But regardless, they look kinda weirdly proportioned. LP's are already a small guitar, so when you tack on a bass neck they are like baby toys.

Ric all the way dude. A white one. Go used!

I miss my Ric. The long wait time will let me pay it off before it even arrives so that is ok. It will probably show in 8 months or so I bet. I ordered a ruby red which is the colour of the year. The one I sold years back was midnight blue.

I really want to try a Les Paul but I think you're right. I'll stick with the Ric. I used to have a Gibson RD bass and that thing was top heavy. If you let go of the neck that fucker would just nose dive.

Have a buddy that had an RD guitar. He'll never outlive the scorn for possessing and playing such an ugly guitar.

I kind of liked them in a strange way. The active ones were shite though.

They are a ugly and heavy bass and not very nice to play really.

I actually played a moog rd and really liked it- it plays passive too.Think I played it through a 50s Deluxe? So it sounded killer- tons if different tones- got very bright and jangly if that's your thing. It really is a pathetic design off the firebird though- ugly I'd agree with for sure.
