It's minus twenty here, so I recently built these in my basement:

The ceiling is low so they are just under 2' high, 6' wide and about 15' from wall to wall.

First time that I built a ramp, about 15 years late, but still fun.[/img]

Nice!

A good way to get through the winter.

Where up north are you?

2' is better than zero, and I think any of us would love to have something indoors to fool around on when it's impossible to skate outside. nicely done

Update

In case you don't have enough height for a full mini/micro this might work for you: I cut out a sheet for the base to make a smoother transition. It does not move at all and has not warped or bubbled in well over a year. It basically rides exactly like a mini.
I'm in Ottawa so the basement gets pretty dry in the cold winter and damp in the summer and I haven't had any problems.
