| These were just released this past Friday the 13th. They were sold out immediately, the pre orders sold out really quick too. I couldn't get my hands on one, called around everywhere within a reasonable driving distance to me without luck. Anyone have any connections? |

Sorry Yall its pretty rare. Preorders were open twice at my store. Once for about an hour after it was announced and a second time for around two hours.
I got one for myself during the first preoder phase.
There is zero chance of getting one at retail price at this point unless nintendo decides to make a second run. They probably won't though  |

| That's what I was fearing. But thanks for all of the info. I know down the line there will be more limited edition systems. I was hoping for a Xenoblade edition. Or a Pokemon. I hate waiting though. |

dang dude your a day late! We were still able to order them yesterday
I'll order you one if they pop up again and charge you retail not ebay prices for it.
I'd check with your local store. I have a wish list type thing at mine. I'll take customers names and numbers and call them when things like that pop up. Your local store manager probably isn't as cool as me though  |

My local GameStop kinda sucks in this department. The guys there give me an attitude whenever I walk in, whatever. I'd rather deal with you.

Boo! Haha.
I was just reading about shortages on Shulk. I seriously don't understand Nintendo at all. They were "struggling" last year financially because of poor Wii U sales. Things seem to be on the up and up now, they've had some really good games come out, people are killing each other over Amiibos, and now the New 3DS. Why can't they make enough Amiibos and New 3DS to supply the demand?
I'm still trying to find myself a New 3DS. Not just the Zelda one, any one. They're all sold out. |
