Hi...
I was a skate wiz on the east coast in the late 1970s and early 1980s when DogTown was going on the West Coast
I used to be a freestyle skateboard whiz although I did some vert in the Staten Island, NY skatepark that had 20 Foot Vert Walls from a drop in ramp totally enclosed wooden plywood in door skatepark as well as the snake run concrete park in Point Pleasant NJ and the Monster Bowl in Seaside Heights NJ.
I rode the original foam core Kryptonics Skateboard.
Years later when I was 25, I ended up skating with Skateboarding Grandma and Rollerskating Jimi Hendrix of the old Pepsi Commercials in Venice Beach, Ca.. Where I was even asked if I had a sponsor..
But years ago... I made a tongue in cheek instructional figure board video for all the old school tricks...
I was known for Air Walking and End Over Ends as well as starting by Kick Turning and then Salom pumping the board to move forward without kick pumping.
Once clocked at 35 miles per hour salom pumping on level street by Police Radar Gun!!!

Enjoy!
And remember to "Go With The Flow"...
