Muse
Robbie Williams
Manic Street Preachers
Ash

Not an endorsement, just an observation. Seems like some of these were pushed over and over again to no avail. To where it's just so obviously an attempt to return on investment.

Muse comes to mind in particular...not a bad band, but even when they get shoved at us over and over no one's buying.

I'd say tens of thousands of fans that went nuts at their Coachella performance would disagree.

Just kinda skimmed a boring-ass Manics documentary on Amazon.

Some footage where they were receiving the "Biggest Band on the Planet" award...with some stats running at the bottom:

"UK Record sales of 1,000,000+"

"USA Sales - 25,000"

Ash is from Ireland. Not bad, college circuit pop/punk rock. They will become known just as soon as they write (or someone writes for them) that monster hit.

Muse's lead singer/guitar/keyboard player, Matt Bellamy, should be well know in the US as his Dad, George Bellamy, was in the Tornados who had a #1 Hit with Telstar in the 60s! And he's copped a lot of Telstar grooves. That association alone should have Muse under the spotlight with musicians.

Robbie William's former band Take That had North American charting back in the day so I'd expect him to be known too.

I'm surprised they aren't well known in the US.

They seem to really be doing well. Deservedly.
