At that price point you are not paying for a decent guitar, you are paying for false status elevation. No different than buying a fake Gucci purse out of the trunk of a car. |

Posers
Sluts think it's a real Gibby when I'm doin' my thang on the lighted stage, so fuck it.
Just like when I cruise my Ferrari on the strip, bitches:

I can say I'd never rock a fake in public. That would be weird.
The cheapest solution is just to make sure the headstock is cropped out of all pics.
Example ^ , also bait for good-natured insults from SnB bros. The RR shirt is from the back cover of the first Saints record, so don't even bother attempting to burn that. |

Yeah, by no means was I short selling TK either! I'm there with ya Sticks. As soon as my house is sold and I'm back on my feet, I might just sell everything for that double cut bigsby...risky, but hell. I made sure for tone/bands that I had a Strat, Teles, LP, and Gretsch. But none are the "1". I have a couple experimental Teles (One with a varitones, push pulls, a b bender, etc that are devalued for anyone but me), but might let it all go for the real deal. Getting his Charlie Christian for Xmas.
I do have a pick guard:
And my Paul Frank strap!

But the Nash, Danocasters, etc...I can't be sold on those. |

I have to admit that being an East Bayer I thought that was pretty cool. A couple of the Utters dudes were in the band with me, so the shows/bills were actually good (like that Agent Orange show) .....meaning people actually came to the shows. That was nice for once!

Just some Gucci I picked up in Chinatown. Dude at the sidewalk table swore it was real, so. |
