Just saw these for sale on Socal:
It's kinda neat!
I'm still bitter about the original. I was a kid in San Jose, GSD was a local legend. I saved for that deck and it snapped right away. My folks sent it to Tracker and they just shipped the broken deck back to us and said it was "thrashed". The thing didn't even have tail drag. That was the first and last Tracker product I ever bought. |

I returned a few broken trucks to them and they replaced them. The last time they said they no longer honored the "lifetime warranty" I immediatly switched to Indy. I have never owned a tracker product again. |

do you really expect a one-off purchase should last you a life time? |

No way.
The warranty was whAt kept me on the trucks. I switched when that offer stopped. The trucks were okay but I prefered the turning characteristics of the indy's.
I see that my response to the broken GSD doesn't really have anything to do with my truck story. |

I don't. I've broken countless decks and that's the only one I ever even tried to warranty. There were several factors going. I was a kid and it was a lot of money to me. The deck broke right away, like a couple of days from purchase. The big one was Tracker telling us to send it to them and then sending it back with a "fuck you".
Contrast that with Indy. I broke a ton of indy hangers and the shop would just swap them out, no questions asked. That built brand loyalty.
Anyway, how bout that new GSD deck? |

I got to hold a NOS mint ungripped GSD Tracker board once. It's a neat board. |
