Gnarliest storm I've ever been a part of. The winds never went balls out, but they went on for 20+ hours. So much water got pushed into the inlets, that my town got hammered by the surge for about the first time in nearly anyone's recollection. I'm so blessed that my house was spared, tons of my friends were no so lucky, though.

BKB: 14-18 foot swell during the storm. 8 to 12 the next day with perfect offshores. The best swell we've had in years. The cool part of this little beach town is that nearly no one paddled out and chose to help their affected neighbors instead. It was one of the coolest sights I've ever seen.

Pat said he is ok, toughest and largest storm he has ever been though. The house is up and not full of water so that's good. I'll keep praying for him and his family....

Well that was a fun one

Got the house all shuttered up, was out of power for a couple days....those nights are LONG and HOT!

Only have partial power at work, so I was off most of the week.

My wife and I got sick as fuck, I drank my weight in gin and talked to neighbors I have not talked to in a long time.

Tons of trees/branches down, but could have been a lot worse!

Part of the deal living in this swamphole

Right on,TAOS .

The hangover I had after a Gin and Grapefruit Juice binge was one for the ages.
