Anyone know how to get ahold of him? I've tried with no luck. Is he taking time off from tattooing? |

@Gusto-Slash grinds and slashing skin go well together. It should be the new American pastime. Will definitely make for some interesting work!
Seth, I used that email and will wait for a reply. If he doesn't get back to me do you think Corey Miller will be just as good for designing a full color sleeve? Can't be straying too far from home. |

well.. corey miller is a great tattoer, and a swell guy... but, his thing is definately black and grey. if you cant get grime to hook you up, have matt shamah do it... hell, i'd have matt do it anyway! i think he's still @ newskool in san jose, but he might still make trips to upland to work w/corey. tell those fools i said what up. |

Seth, actually I'm down in San Diego. Is there anyone closer who has some serious skill? It's been so long since I got a fresh tattoo that I'm totally clueless. I will definitely do a little travel if I have to though. |

well, it really depends on what you want.. if you want jap work, definately check out chris garver @ shamrock social club in LA. i also heard eddie deutsche is working there as well, but i know he's a little harder to get a hold of.
if you want american traditional work, eric maaske is in fullerton, and he does a really nice job at classic style tattoos.. he's at classic tattoo.. and, juan puente at spotlight tattoo is great as well...
there's a younger guy named daniel albrigo in costa mesa who's work is looking really nice too.
if you need phone numbers for any of these folks, lemme know. and, feel free to tell em i sent you.
also, these guys in LA are friends of mine... http://www.incognitotattoo.com/home.html |

Either no one checks their email or they are too busy to reply. I emailed Grime a bunch with no reply and emailed Matt Shamah days ago and still haven't heard back. I guess I'll have to call. Shit, how hard is it to get tattooed these days? |
