I've seen some old members posting, let's keep it going!

Facebook and all that junk is for your parents and your kids. Fuckin lame.

I'll disagree about Facebook, it's much easier to do on mobile than S&B.

Bro, facebook sucks. It always did and still does. But you are right about it being easier.

When I can get the $$$ together to rebuild the site I plan to make more accessible for smart phones.

This is still the place IMO. Agree that FaceBag sucks. I will get back to posting. I prefer a website displayed on a big screen but I can't deny that most interweb traffic goes to the mobile versions of websites. To the point where google has gone to "mobile first indexing". https://developers.google.com/search/mobile-sites/mobile-first-indexing

Is snb really that hard on a phone?
I only use a phone and the only issue is pics. Helps when you don’t ever get new wood anymore
Would also think it’s an easier system here to go back and find a topic of interest. I thought with Facebook it just sank down the line with each post to never be seen again??
I’m not on Facebook, figure there are too many people in the past I’d really not want to contact me

I remember starting here 7 or 8 years ago, the traffic was insane. You’d hit recent posts and there’d be a page or so from morning to afternoon. Was always good to see the bickering too, political, noob related, pricing etc. Chatting with some cool peeps all over the world.

I’ve still got a message in my outbox to Hotrod the night before he passed away. Thought it was weird he didn’t reply, and haven’t deleted it since. There’s been some funny characters come and go. Was always a buzz for the day

100% Agree. Especially about people from the past I'd rather not meet. I met one such person recently who I hadn't seen in about 30 years (for very good reasons). Turns out this person lives too close for comfort. Online or IRL sometimes this stuff happens.

There was a time I’d get lost for hours on this site. Miss the conspiracies and arguments and assorted drama. On a side note just skated the park in Marthas Vineyard with some of the locals. There were a couple of kids that were tearing that place up! Off to skate Block Island next.

It's not that its hard on a phone, its just not optimized for cell phones and facekook is so easy in terms of posting images—though recently, even on my computer, facekook has been generating a lot of errors and gets real slow despite my having retardedly high speed connection on both my computer and phone.

Now that I have two titanium rods, a titanium plate and a stainless steel cage in my neck, I'd like to meet that guy that dumped skating for mountain bikes and was alway talking about punching people in the throat.

I hate looking at any web site on my phone even though its a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge with a 7cm x 12cm screen. I still go to my 3 screen PC by default for anything web related.

It was always pretty easy to post images with Photobucket - sucks when all that changed.

The messenger on fb and Instagram are also great. Talking in real time is a lot better than trading pms

Although it’s always been pretty awesome getting an email that you have a new pm on here!

Almost all the best dudes and friends I’ve made in collecting are from here. I think that says something.
