Hello,

First post/thread.

I've been trying to find out any info on what this might be worth.

I think the company was out of Hamburg

Any info is greatly appreciated.

that beat deck is, or was, a Vision Mark Gonzales deck.

as for the Pfander deck - there's no "value" to be put on that deck. probably not worth much to anyone who hasn't witnessed skating in 80's Germany - graphics are pretty generic and make it look like a cheapo brand deck. then again, maybe there's some German collector who rode the deck at the time or who knew the folks behind the brand... might be worth something to them.

I must admit I've never heard of the brand, let alone seen that deck. no records of other specimen having sold means it's impossible to put a price tag on it.

try the Concrete Wave skateshop in Cologne - the owner has quite some knowledge about German skatebrands and might know a bit more about it. other person that comes to mind is the owner of Pavel Skateboards... good luck!

Thanks so much for the reply. I will follow your advice.

I searched on here and seen the name mentioned a few times, but nothing definitive.

Thanks again for the info.

If Herwig still comes by here I'm sure he would know the complete history.

I briefly remember Pfander Sports from the 80s.
It was (is?) a sports article manufacturer from Hamburg who made skateboards. BMX, unicycles and the like. A pretty generic brand.
I owned a Pfander BMX in blue and yellow as a child.

I think Sonicdan is spot on about the value, this might only be worth a few bucks to someone who had this bitd for nostalgic reasons.

Herwig changes history.

Ask La Mar.
