My kid and I were out for a bike ride today. On the way home I could see three skaters way ahead of us heading toward a decent hill about a block from my Mom's house. We caught up to them after their first run down the hill. I didn't see the bail but evidently one kid skated into a yard instead of bombing the entire hill...not surprised cause its a ballsy hill to bomb. They were checking him out when we got there and I heard one of them say "its broke". I asked if I could help and while scanning his arm at first I couldn't see anything wrong...then my eyes hit his collar bone. Boy was it broke, completely in half, and one half looked like it was going to tear through his skin. I volunteered to get my truck as he needed to go to the hospital, but a couple who was also there and saw the whole thing insisted they drive him.
Too bad, cause I was going to suggest a few more hills nearby for them to hit. Poor guy. |
