Did you have to add any kind of binding agent or polymer to the cement to make it less brittle?.......just curious as a couple of council made bowls have coping so fucked up, itβs like a chocolate chip cookie......all crumbled with chunks missing.

i sprayed the mold with salba sauce
so it removed nicely
still some left on the mold though
we gonna make another try soon with oil maybe
they are swiming in water bath for some days
we found out it makes the crete stronger
still experimenting

Talking about additives to your initial concrete mix.....make it hard and plastic shiny.
Fantastic stuff you are doing.
π€βπ»...simple pva wood glue is equivalent to βBondcreteβ as is known in Aus.....wood glue mixed in with your concrete makes a shiny happy solid coping.

and the plywood is on !
we could finally have a little ride...
just need to do the extension with the pool coping
I want to make one more test with it before)
and it's fully ready
so the 13years old ramp is like new!
