Just wanted to see if anyone could help with this..
I have a deck coming from the US into Canada. It is currently travelling with FedEX (Ebay Global Shipping Program). I have spoken to several FedEX reps asking to self clear the package so I don't have to pay the ridiculous "brokerage fee". FedEx tells me they can't do that because it won't be FedEx who brings the board to my house. So, assuming it will be Canada post? Self clear through them? Darren.

Fed Ex does a good job of clearing it with the information you give them upon shipping.

If Fedex shipped its usually Fedex delivered. But Fedex air and Fedex land are two different entities under the same umbrella.

Fedex ground sucks balls. Almost as bad as UPS.

I process online orders for a museum bookshop here in the US. We only ship to Canada using FedEx air, we had so many problems, confusion, crazy duties and fees using FedEx ground...

Frustrating. They can't accept my self-clear option even though I can track it through them.
