I used to long distance Skate when I was Younger. in Sacramento. But I was thinking about Skating the Length of Santa Monica Blvd. From, 4000 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90029, To, Santa Monica Blvd & Ocean Ave.

has any one in L.A. Done this? when is best time of day to Start the ride? Is it to Dangerous?

This Cruise Route has been on my to do list, for since I can remember.

it isn't too dangerous. it will be a pain in the ass, and it'll take hours, but it isn't dangerous. i guess do it in the morning so the sun isn't in your face the whole time. maybe very early, like at dawn, when there will be fewer pedestrians.

Thank you, I will maybe do it at like, starting 3 AM. I will be on street no sidewalk. unless I need to avoid something, I'll Ollie up on the walkway. it should only take about 3 hours, maybe less. going to use my Powell Peralta, Ray Rodriguez Skull & Sword Deck 9.5 x 32.75. with some Powell Peralta SSF 66mm, 75A Feets for this short ride. Oooooh Yyyeeeaaaaaa.

Have fun man! Sounds like it'll be a good trip. I skated to commute around Santa Monica a bit when I lived down there, no better way to dig the city.

Prepping my board for L.A.

Oldest Board I have. I tend to break them.

put a moderate amount of Flex Seal on the under tail.

I wanted to see if it will prevent my board from getting any more razor tail syndrome.
got to let it set for 24h, then I'll test a tail stop spin maneuver. if it don't help and the stuff just peels off, I'll have to live with this board getting proper damage. I have tried to keep this old board in good condition, but I want to use it on my run.

seeing as this run will be mostly down hill. I'll be tail stopping/slowing a lot.
