Hi,
Currently we are working on a sensor for skateboards to track the tricks performed, analyse the progress and to compete with friends. Could you help us by filling in the survey below? It will just take a couple of minutes and you would help us a lot!

How's it gonna account for makes? By the momentum stopping (to know it was a bail)? What if they pop the trick stationary? Also, is it going to count grinds and length? It would be cool to know your speed for example. I once blew my knee out in the Steamboat Springs snowboard park for going to slow up to their largest kicker and landing flat...I've had lifelong ailments due to that...I always run it back and wished I'd "dropped in" from the top where we were all sitting and rode next to someone who was clearing it, then turned and missed the kicker just familiarize myself with the proper speed. OR clock the speed, and somehow be informed of your speed as your going...that way if you're too slow you could just abort...so a sensor on a snowboard maybe...but the way skates get tossed around it seems kind of superfluous unless maybe it clocked your speed...so many factors...how's it know your skating stairs and not a launch ramp etc (imaging if it measured pop, but then how does it know your not just acid dropping a four set).
Anyways, share a screen shot of what you think it will look like... |
