Count I think you inhaled too many fumes at Mervin. I credit them more with innovation than craftsmanship. It must kill you that I snagged a Burton. I'm going to go ride it now. Go inhale your fumes.

I've never worked there, I just have my facts straight.

Burton: mass produces an average snowboard backed by their heavy-handed marketing gestapo.

Lib Tech: leader of the pack in snowboard performance & technological advancement.....and art, too.

When Baldy gets a good base and then a dump, you will often find me there...unfortunately, that ain't often. I love that place and I will drive all night for good snow at Baldy. I got a new radar/laser detector so I can get there even faster this year. Baldy, Mammoth, Tahoe and then home is a good loop for me. I am fully down but it's gotta be open to the parking lot and it's gotta be dumpin. This could be a good year for them though so keep that thought in the back of your mind.

It's steep and the place has a good cruster vibe.

I used to live right down the hill from Baldy. I'd get out of bed and be on the lift 1/2 hour later. But its only 'on' for so long, and when the snow hits you get a lot of kooks and touristas on the road filling up their pickup beds with snow. I guess its a novelty to some ... but geez get the fuck outta the way Hector!!!
