just saw this and wanted to know...what is the benefit of a drop deck? does it ever rub on the ground when carving? what type of skating is this for...only downhill or can you cruise on it? |

it lowers the center of gravity offering better stability and it also make is easier to push long distance because there is less travel in the leg. i hear taht they are good for cruising and carving although i have never ridden one. |

Downhill.
Drop down decks lower the center of gravity and afford much better cornering. |

I enjoyed it awhile but my fibreflex team reissue is my favorite and i can't see having so many set up and collecting dust. (i used to have money to try every deck i took a fancy to...)
I had seismics and flywheels on it and it indeed does corner well. this model also has a tail, so's you can ollie it.
my only beef was the obvious---clearance: no rolling up curbs without ollie-ing, that's for sure. |

great for down hill and high speeds but they suck for carving or turnsing fast |
