i love cooking with cast iron pots and pans but i have to say that for non stick, Le Cruset makes a nice product. contains heat like iron but doesnt take as long to heat up and non stick. pretty good.
now i know im only 15 but i know my way around a kitchen a bit.
Stay away from the OXO knives...they are total shit. not a huge fan of their other stuff but it works and they have some cool stuff. get an electric toothbrush too. those are great. |

Cool. Thanks, keep it coming...
We got one of those rabbit corkscrews at a shower, and I used it and found it to be much more of a hassle than the corkscrew that we already owned. I even slightly bent the "drill bit" on the first try using it.
For the money (it was a good deal more expensive five years ago when we bought ours), this is the King Hell Bad MF corkscrew:

It looks cool and is actually kind of fun to use. |

Two words and one letter: Toast-r-Oven.
That thing is so sweet when you don't want to heat up the oven -- makes leftover pizza crispy instead of nuking it.
Also, get a mini george foreman. I only use it to cook chicken, but that's at least twice a week. Cooks it perfect every time. |

Mini George Foreman (otherwise known as the "Bachelor's Best Friend") makes THE best grilled cheese sandwiches in the world!!!
I cook chicken in it, but it tends to be too dry and/or not cooked through well. Any help? I have tried tenderloins and breasts.
Ground turkey cooks well but tends to clump to the top and not stay in nice patties for burgers.

Pick up some of those food storage bins that fit nicely inside each other. Ours are rectangular and in 5 sizes starting with about 1/2 sandwich size up to the large one that can hold a couple of nice steaks for marinating. Great for leftovers, lunches or the affore mentioned marinating. Almost 7 years later and ours are still being used daily. What's so cool is that they take up so little cupboard space since they all fit inside the next size container lid and all. |
