I'm not a huge fan of sweets. I don't eat them that often. BUT, there are a few items that are like kryptonite to me. I am forced, beyond my will to get them, if only for one bite. These desserts are...

Banana Pudding. (WITH 'Nilla Wafers.)
Bourbon Pecan Pie.
Key Lime Pie.
Homemade peach or strawberry ice cream. Like when you were a kid and there was a block party for 4th of July or Labor Day or something & all the adults would take turns working the ice cream mixer and you kept running over there to find out if it was ready and it never was, until finally you had forgotten about it and you were playing baseball up the street or something & then you saw some little kid with a cone & you lost your mind & everyone ran screaming back to the grown ups & got some fresh goddamn ice cream....

I eat any variety of Pecan Pie that I can, as often as I can. Even those little crappy disks from the gas station that come in the tin ashtray pan are delicious in their own right.

Tiramisu.

Cheesecake.

Derby Pie.

Tollhouse Pie.

Fuck cake.

The only cake I'm actually down for is standard Chocolate. Outside of that, i can take it or leave it. Although, the compact appeal of the cupcake is a fine alternative. 2-3 bites and you're on your way....

Four Layer. If you don't know what it is that's your problem.

Best dessert ever is Cherries Jubilee at Hy's Steakhouse in Calgary where Buckethead is the Chef.

The wife and I were there and the waiter was preparing it at another table for some Japanese tourists. He was really playing it up and when he lit it. Pft. Nada. Diddly. We laughed our asses off!

When he came around to do ours, we were still laughing and giving him a hard time. When he lit ours the flames licked across the 10ft ceilings for a concerning period of time. Raised the room temperature by 20-degrees instanly. It was awesome! Best damn dessert I ever had.

I'd like to add the Choco-Taco to the list, even though it isn't technically a proper dessert, except at Taco Bell, but you have to eat it first then, which only further detracts from actual dessert status.

But it is damn good. Not many things will make me crave them out of the blue to the point that as soon as I have the idea, I'm eating one less than a half hour later, guaranteed.

Any kind of Cheesecake

@Zodiac
