tim, how steep is the shallow? it doesnt look like you needed that much speed to get over those steps. or was the movie deceptive? |

Ha. The movie is a little deceptive. The shallow is 4 ft deep, with 22" trannies. Super tight, and tough. Definitely not the type of pool you drop in and do all your tricks right off the bat. But that makes it that much better. She makes you work for everything you get! |

Haven't skated sarasota. The Team pain guys say it's similar.
The shallow is kind of dropinable (is that a word?). You can do it, but you pretty much end up with your knees in your throat when you hit flat. I've done it a few times. It's more of a, "can I do it" kind of a thing, not really functional to drop into the shallow. It's got 2' of vert in the shallow, which is 4' deep. You do the math! It's a little hairy. The deep end is a normal drop in |

They said it's pretty much the same thing as sarasota, just a little different shaped. |

cool. That's a tight MOFO. There's places on this where your nose and tail will hit and your wheels are spinning. It's pretty funny, like a car that ran up on a divider or something. |
