Somehow in my trades I ended up with Abec 11 Flywheels (83mm/78a) and I have a ton of trucks and risers, but I want a longboard, something to cruise the neighborhood with and carve the small hills around here. Not sure what to go with...need some advice??? Honestly, my knees are so messed up that I have to take a break from ridding parks/pools, but I do not want to completely stay off a stick, somebody offer some suggestions.

Thanks for the advice. What is the feedback about the Skull Skates longboards?

Hey, I have a Skull Skates 36" allcity. I ride parks and street with it but I'm sure you could bomb hills too. All of the guys I skate with ride skulls and pretty much nothing else and they are tough as nails with longer boards having 1 or 2 extra plys. Plus I'm pretty sure that most of their longer shapes are designed for all around function(with a few exceptions). Hope this helps.

Dude, with those 83mm wheels... you are gonna want/need something with cutouts or more of a pintail shape.... look at Skullskates Carving or Cruising series (other that the Cutter-- too small) ...
those wheels are a little much for a park/ kicktail type longboard... one of the only decks that is more "normal" that has a kicktail and will accomodate those wheels without about 2" of riser is the Noreaster Hybrid Fantail

40X10 26" Wheelbase... formica belly ... 8, 9 or 10 ply construction. Nice big kicktail.. and Brad is a great guy to deal with...

I finally got a deck in the mail today and put it together. Skull Skates Flow Dart, Indy 215's and the 83m Flywheels. Ground was a little slick from the rain last night, but man was it fun cruising the hood! I need to get some bigger risers, but I am loving this setup!
