i'm trying to find the best paint to use for base colors on skateboards. i'm already pressing boards in my garage and would be happy to share what i know and have incountered. i am spraying my base color on currently, but the paint i was recomended is oil based, it doesnt seem to have the right texture, or finish. i'm doing sealent first then paint, but with this paint i will have to sand and seal again. any u.s. products, or any products period you could recomend to me?

Do you stain any of your decks or just solid base colors?

you can use two different methods:
#1 blank...spraypaintit-sandit-spraypaintit-sandit...done
#2blank...filler...sandit...spraypaintit...done

you have to figure out what's best for you.
and always stick to the same supplier in order to avoid nasty surprises,ok??

i don't know if your asking don or i. but did as much as i could. i don't have a metal shop, so i had to pay someone to cut and do some fabrication. i bought a hydrolic bearing press from a tool store, but i built the moulds myself

Hey Primitave, this may be for another thread but do you have any pics of your setup? I'm interested to see your molds and press. Sounds pretty cool...
