Just wanted to give some props to some of the forum guys here.
Tim@Five Points Skateboards: This guy simply rocks. I sent him a picture of a deck, and he created the custom shape for me. Awesome price for a one-off custom shape. I'm bringing it to the Old-Timers Club at 3rd Lair skatepark on Wednesday night to ride in the wooden bowl for the first time. Thanks again Tim!
WEDGE: We swapped my used ACS-651s for his used set of Indy 159s. His wife forgot the package in the back seat, and he made up for the delay by adding extra goodies in with the trucks. Excellent deal!
Chris74: Super shirts. Super deal. Hope you feel better soon. Need I say more?

All of the guys I've listed also communicated with me as to where things were, and when to PayPal them for the product with either PMs or emails. These are the type of guys I'd invite to crash at my home if there was ever a SnB outing in Minneapolis. Trustworthy in my book.

I'll be at 3rd on Wednesday. Haven't been there for a while, and never to OTC. Fill me in on the SnB thing on Wednesday. I'll have the big white Five Points board with me, so you can't miss me. I'll also be the guy stumbling in the bowl.

Just read the thread about Jellystone. Haven't been there, but heard it's a blast. I won't be able to make it that weekend - my wife is pregnant, and she's due the 16th of July. Too close for comfort!
Just look for the guy who looks like Tim Robbins skating the bowl, and you'll find me.  |
