It's all stencil and spray paint. Two colors applied in three runs. You can't see it from the photos, but the gray is just black sparingly applied on the white. Next time I'm gonna work in more colors, but I wanted the 1st one to be pretty simple. |

Stencil = self adhesive shelf paper; available at most hardware stores in a rolls about 40" wide by 6 or 7' long. Works good, but probably not as good (or as expensive) as the fisket(?) air brush stuff.
It's not very sticky, so you can't apply thick layers of paint, or it will creep under the stencil. You have to apply very thin layers and let it dry between each coat. But it's easy to move and reposition since it sticks about as well as a post-it note. |
