Surf One Classic:

Surf One Robert August:

The shapes are a little conservative compared to some other brands, but the construction is very, very good. I built up one of the Luau II's (pictured below), and that's going to be my fart-around longboard (Tracker Sixtracks, wedge risers, ABEC 11 88a NoSkoolZ).

Does that Robt. August have a rocker? Its nice. I have an old Surf One that I bought as a factory 2nd (blem), and its solid.

I'll check. It looked pretty flat, but I didn't break out the yardstick and test it.

@BBB,

It's essentially flat. I laid a yardstick on it, and if it has a rocker, it's maybe 1/8".

Before concave was ever invented we had rockers, and they were pretty cool. Like my old Hobie Park Rider. Would love to see a blowed-up verson of that re-emerge.

Thanks for checking, Mark.

This is one of my latest. Its not finished yet but I built it around original trucks. I put a pole on top so you can see the rocker.
