I've heard from Grumpy that Stubbs IS a tranny, but that has yet to be confirmed.

I ride long-"ish" boards in ditches (Hustler, Gravity 39) and sometimes in flowbowls.

I ride a 36" and 39" board in the park and in bowls etc. It's fun, it kind of reminds me of snowboarding a little on the 39" board.

My standard park rig is a 38" Alva.

My son and I have just started getting into longboarding. We have a spot at the local High School that has no traffic mellow hills and some real cool interconnectiong sidewalks. While I just ordered a 46" complete off chronicsurf, the board I'm currently using is a 36" Tejano Hellrider with Indy 215"s and 80mm Krypto's. Both trucks wedged forward and on a 1/2 inch soft pad. This set up is an absolute dream to ride! Very turny and just goes forever! I'm almost afraid to try it at Sayreville because if I like it Then i might have to resort to using ONLY one board! ( Never) The last 36" board I tried on tranny was my Dogtown surf skate with Seismics and 76mm Kryptos . Didn't like it, the yellow springs were way to squirrelly and the trucks were just to heavy. Some day I will order a set of cranksters, I'll try them on the Tejano and we will see.

"....away from my tranny crack." is euphemism for "Don't get that thing anywhere near me, including my mouth. Grumpy is fair game, though."

Grumpy is in Aruba, so you'll have to stand in for him
