Cool stuff! There was someone on here looking for handmade goblets on the forum here. Wanted to buy some for their wedding or something. I'll see if I can find it.

Wow! That is just amazing stuff. How would an average scmoe like me learn how to work in glass? Do they classes for that sort of thing?

Really cool stuff, keep up the good work.

yes! you can try to get an apprenticeship with an established artist or you can take classes from places such as the Eugene glass school. If your really interested in this and have a decent amount of money, let me know. I can hook you up with the right people, especially with you being in northern Cali. The majority of the glass movement is in the Pacific northwest, Oregon and Washington being the biggest. OR if you want to persue the art on your own i can give you some links to buy supplies and educational videos.

Awesome stuff, my buddy and i just picked up some pyrex tubing about a month ago and our metal shop teacher let us start playing with the stuff. we haven't invested in a glass tourch but use an oaw sytem to practice with. we have made some beads and such using diferent types of metals in the glass, but any info in suppliers and vidios would rock.thanks

First I recognized your dark slide from the gldc, then I saw the cheese and pizzle piece you made. Haha, that rules! (I was indyneon before the board crash..) Cool to see you over here, all about skating.

You should really do at least a little bit of research first. Type in glass blowing, or pipe making, or bead making, or anything even close to that and google will give you a ton of help. For starters, you need the right eye protection, or simply, you could FUCK up your eyes bad. Maybe check out http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/forum...s=&forumid=89
to start with. Alot of old bead ladies, but they know what the hell they're doing with a torch for sure. Be careful, its as intense as welding, but way prolonged.
