I'm going to post a follow up (sorry for hijacking your thread sorta) I am also in the market for boxes, but not only for shipping, but also for retail POS. I'd love to offer clamshell boxes that the decks come in, maybe flat white etc.. Put a cat in there and some stickers, but not have to worry about shrink wrapping them in. If the margins weren't so krappy, I'd also put a custom foam insert with a deck concave already molded into it so it sits nicely.

Anyone have any hookups?

I order these from the USPS.

http://shop.usps.com/cgi-bin/vsbv/pos...l.jsp?OID=1003569

They are free, and if you put two together longways they fit a deck or two perfect (depending on deck size and packaging materials used.) You're supposed to use them to ship USPS Priority mail (which I usually do anyway) but if needed, you can just cut along an edge and turn them inside out. Then re-tape and you're good to go.

Mailman just drops off a big box of them to your address like a regular delivery.

Very handy.

34", 36", and 42" will fit most boards, and we use the 48x8x8" for longwood

I like the mailer type boxes, but they don't have anything of size.

I am using empty HP/ Compaq rackmount rail boxes. If you know someone in the IT field, you may get some for free. They come with some foam inside as well, very nice! Dimensions are approx. 32 x 8.5 x 3.5" (length x width x height)
