Snowbird and Brighton mostly, but also solitude, park city, canyons, and powder mountain. I mostly ride in the backyard where the getttin's good. I'll be puttin some serious wear on the splitboard.

figures - we can't meet up in NYC but you'll be in UT after me!

me and a couple S&Br's are heading to UT 1/24-1/28 for solitude, brighton, and snowbird. we're going with a planker but he's invited cuz he's got cash and usually is too hung over to get up in the morning.

BTW - I'm in vegas before that for bowls and craps - 1/21 - 1/24.

Got 2 days in so far. 1 back country day up big cottonwood on the split. It was dumping like crazy. Face shots are great until you're thinking I hope that tree is still where I think it is. My Voile 173 split truly dominates in powder. They have a 193 split swallowtail at salty that I'm dying to try, I've never ridden a swallow. After riding bigger boards my 157 seems like such a toy, I haven't dug it out yet this year.

I bought a 162 Burton Malolo and rode first tram at the bird yesterday in about 2 feet of fresh. Mineral basin was so good for about 45 minutes. It wasn't bottomless, but a great day nonetheless. The Malolo kept me on top and is super responsive for turning. Riding switch was not an issue with the recomended binding stance. On a grand powder day I think I'll try it moved back even a lil more. I dropped a rock I prolly shouldn't have and dug out a lot of ptex. Nothing like almost coming to a stop when your dropping a big rock. That's twice consecutively that I've done some major damage first time out on a new board.

Riding Burton C60 bindings and it's my first time with cap straps. I wouldn't say it's a world of difference, but I won't be turning back. The C60's overall were exactly what I expected. I've only tried Burton stuff in the last 3 seasons out of 19 and I'll have to say I'm hooked now.

Oh, and Cafe Rio is the SHIT!!!! The salmon tacos rule. Why can't we get decent mexican in the east? why? Anyone in SLC have some other food recommendations?

There is an excellent cheap Mexican place in Park City in the same stip mall as the skate shopl. Its not the kind with wait staff, you get a tray and retrieve your order and do the fixins bit on your own. Very good. Just can't remember the name. Have fun. Wish I was there.
