No no, I don't collect snowboards, but I have a few in my quiver.
Take a look at them. Some of them are pretty old btw and date back to 1991/92

yoyo those are rad! I don't collect snowboards either, but have started to try and save some of my latest. Had a Lib skeleton back in the day, but always sold boards off to by new. Still have a Lynn left in the stash though.............

The Matt Cummins Cat woman board was given to me at ASR in 1991!
I was one of the first to ride Lib Techs over here in Germany and I helped out with the distribution at first. Board is still in good condition....nice.
In the middle, the Litigator with the Salomon ski graphics, is so rad.
Those guys rock.....
Have you seen the lates 'magna traction' construction? More edges on a snowboard.... http://www.lib-tech.com/subHype/goodWood/goodWood.htm

I lived in Washington state from 91-92, that's when I was introduced to Lib Tech.....the best boards around that time for sure. My first trip to Baker was also my first run of pow-pow. I started riding in Big Bear in 89.......but learned how to board from Baker! That place rules! My parents still live Washington, so I get up there about once a year.

I've only heard about the magna traction, don't know anyone that owns one though. Man, I've been riding the same board for a couple years now........guess I've been spending too much money on skateboards.

Yoyo those are some sweet boards. I remember h ow the libs had those really rough topsheets back then. The Emma Peel with the skier is sweet.

Yup, the Salomon rip off graphics ($halom) another Lib classic.
And yes, a rough top. I was told that the put a curtain in the mold when they pressed them to the the structured surface.
Great boards from day one. Very light, torsionally stiff....I still like the old ones. The ACME with the sun graphics is my wife's board, but I'll try to get it back......because it's so great for the slopestyle stuff I do, like nose wheelie spins and the like. To get an idea, check out my clip from 2004

Cool. I had an Emma Peel in 93 and was was torsionally solid, literally no flex at all. It was the best carving board I ever had, but very unforgiving.
But now I am hoping to get a MagneTraction next year. Have you ridden one?

The guy that sold Lib over here quit, so I have no 'cheap' source for a new one or a rental, and that's the reason why I haven't tried the new magne traction's. The idea sounds valid, let's see if they continue in the future.
The all black board you see in my foto is a 93/94 Emma Peel btw. It still has the old Burton 5 hole pattern.
