almost right:mine are better hehehe
factr is that i saw theit templates one time and that's it.i tried around for a couple of months and came out with my own frames.what i found out is that my frame size is better for printing a deck than their frame size(i have their frame size now too-they gave it to me).since my frame is a bit shorter than an abc-frame i don't have so much movement in the motives i print.
i will do an indepth article in bowls forum on how to build the frame and so on.will talk with slob today about getting the stuff started in bowls forum.
faxes will happen tomorrow morning, which bill be today nighttime for you ohio,ok?

right thats fine.
im interested in how you are stretching youre frames so put that in the write up, you know how i do it with the aluminum screwed to the wood. Also put some pics of work that you have done with mulitiple colors so we can see how well youre regestration is and an up close of youre off contact distance. If you screen another board can you do a more detailed image. thanks

I'll let Donald do that one up, I don't want to step on his hard work and believe me it is hard to document the process, so give Donald mad props for his efforts. When I used to print thousands of boards I used a Flat screen on a dual axis/rocker pivot, "World Industries" revealed this proccess on a 411 video a long time ago I believe. Registration of the graphics is tough using that method as the screens tend to drift a bit. I don't have any photos of that process, however I switched up to formed frames back in 1997 and created fixtures to isolated the deck and adapted it for use on a standard 4 color-single palett t-shirt screen press. Anyhow thanks again to Donald for documenting the process. |
