It's been about 3 months since I have been on a board. I needed the time to recover from a fall that peeled my kneepad back and drove the top of my knee directly into the concrete. Bone contusion and massive bursa inflammation is almost all healed up now.
I took it easy today at our local mellow park. Need to wait for my new Pro Designed kneepads before I ride anything more intense.
It felt great to be back on a board again. |

So rad! Frontside grinds terrify me since I dislocated my shoulder a few years ago. |

Ya buddy! Wish I had an indoor park to hit in the winter.
I've noticed with my GoPro that unless I have clear bright sunlight I get blurry action frames to pick from when shooting by myself (which is always). Putting the camera on the "low light" setting helps even if I think it is not a low light situation like when the sun is behind the clouds/trees or probably indoors under high overhead fluorescents. GoPros love light.
Try setting up some lights? I have never brought lights but I have thought about it and I would need to purchase some. I just skate and if the light is good I might break out the GoPro. |
