I drove up to Northampton today to see the progress on the new park. I expected to see some ground clearing and digging going on...maybe some rebar. When I showed up on site all I could say was HOLY MUTHERFUCKING GOD OF THUNDER!!! The bowl is going to be way more burly and gnarly than I ever dreamed! After 20 years of waiting I'm finally gonna have a sick park within 20 minutes of my home. Thank you Breaking Ground and City of Northampton!!

I drove right through Northampton Sunday night and wondered the same thing to myself ".. probably just some dirt work going on .."
Should be a fun park. Thanks for scouting it for us, Hal. |

Yup, they'll be a street park area as well..at least according to the plans that are hanging at The Board Room. |

They'll be no need to barge. The flat bottom won't be poured until spring
I'm going to try and make it over there on Thursday for more pics. Stay tuned for updates. |
