I agree. Check out the rails/steps off the pool - where would you land? In the grass - there's not much 'crete to land on! Not that I'd bother trying - the pools where its at - and that volcano thing! Pretty cool.
Look at the trees surrounding the park. It also along side a stream. The place should be sweet in the heat of summer with shade falling over the pool.
Really great setting. |

I'd like you to start your own skatepark directory that maps out all the good bars in close proximity to each park. The research will be fun.

Yeah you guys work on that and get back to me.
I'm hopped up to skate again - been off since 12/22. Hudson looks like a great spring trip ... swing over to Northampton, then up to Bondville VT. Sleep in cars. Maybe even make it to the Burton bowl. Eat gas station food. Who's in? Hell there's probably some bars on that route, anyway. |

Nope!
I went by on Saturday April 28th and it looks like the above pictures - but without the snow.
So no further work has been done.
It looks like they just need to do landscaping to finish it.
Bill might know more because he mentioned that it is the same guys who are working on Northampton too. So they probably need to come back to MA and finish one then finish the other.

They have 2 crews working both parks, but are "milking it" right now as they have no other parks in the pipeline right now. Which is sad, because the kooks at Scituate Concrete are busy dropping their turds on asphalt everywhere, including their latest job in New Milford, CT.
I'm in a bad mood today. This time last week I was skating the Chino clover. |

It was still not open as of last week.
Still all tagged up (un fucking believable), full of skidmarks from bike tires as well as dirt and crap wood.
How much ya wanna bet a football team shows up w/ some sledgehammers and wrecks the bowl before it's dedicated??? |

Unreal. Got any pics? Is this skatepark in a "high visibility" location? I'm just curious how it can get abused with impunity. |
