I just got back, crazy fluffy stuff everywhere and no crowds. I love this Mtn.

Fernie rocks and that is actually where I planned on going this weekend but after checking the snow conditions noticed that Castle had way more fresh snow in the past 24hrs. I am not affraid of the masses invading Castle, and if it does happen I will just go earn some turns in the backcountry (whose locations I do protect, not that an eager sort with the proper avalanche training couldn't sniff them out but it does require effort).

Yeah, the Red Chair was shut down all weekend because it was so windy and they're opening it up on Tues. so that whole upper part of the Mtn. hasn't been touched, you're going to have some good snow.
